Hello! Meet the Nurturing Neurodivergence team

Jenna Kamhi, J.D., co-owner

Jenna is an experienced parent consultant. In 2007, she earned a B.A. in History with a minor in Spanish from Emory University. In 2011, she graduated cum laude from Yeshiva Cardozo School of Law, where she earned her J.D. After graduating law school, Jenna passed the New Jersey and New York bar exams, clerked for a judge in the Superior Court, Family Division of the Morris County Courthouse, and worked for a high profile matrimonial law firm for several years. She gave birth to a son in 2014, and two years later, he was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. At the time of his diagnosis, Jenna chose to retire from the practice of law in order to fully devote herself to her son’s care.

While caring for her son, Jenna gained invaluable experience regarding how to raise an autistic child, how to find the right services to help them thrive, and how to navigate the arduous insurance process. She also learned how to approach and collaborate with district child study teams, how to find and select a private neurodivergent friendly schools, and how to find the right activities and camp programs for neurodivergent kids.

In 2022, Jenna earned a Parent Advocate Certificate through SPAN, which provided her with valuable information regarding the IEP process. From 2023 through 2025, Jenna worked as the Executive Coordinator at AG Behavioral Services, an ABA agency in North Jersey. During her tenure at AGBS, Jenna conducted the client intake process, helped hire staff, and even had the opportunity to take and complete an RBT class. With the knowledge she ha gained through her past endeavors, it is Jenna’s goal to help parents through the difficult yet rewarding process of supporting their neurodivergent children.

In her spare time, Jenna enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her husband, two sons, and Portuguese water dog, Zelda.

Nicole Threlfall, MS, CCC-SLP, co-owner

Nicole is a speech-language pathologist with over 13 years of experience working in a variety of settings, including early intervention and public schools. She graduated with a B.A. in English from Susquehanna University and after working in publishing for a few years felt the pull to return to school. She graduated with her M.S. in Communication Disorders from William Paterson University. Nicole is licensed in NJ as a speech language pathologist and is certified by ASHA. She also holds a NJ educational certificate.

Nicole’s career has led her to specialize in the treatment of communication disorders in early childhood, executive function, Autism (level 1 & 2), and ADHD. She also has experience working with twice exceptional (2e) and hyperlexic children. In her work as a speech therapist, she strives to be up-to-date on the latest research and is passionately neurodiversity affirming.

Nicole has first hand knowledge of neurodivergence as a professional, the parent of a neurodivergent child, and as a neurodivergent individual herself. Her time working in public schools and on a child study team provided her with insight into the educational world. She embraces a whole-child, strength based approach rooted in understanding the unique developmental path of neurodivergent children. Nicole’s experience navigating the ups and downs of parenting through the world of neurodivergence has fueled her passion for empowering others. She’d love to help you better understand your child’s strengths and support needs.

When not working, Nicole enjoys crafting, gardening, and reading. She often goes hiking with her husband, and enjoys an Ulta run or antique store trip with her tween and teenage daughters. Nicole has two cats that are very spoiled.
